SEO Case Study: Dr. Hollywood
Dr. Hollywood hired a digital marketing agency for SEO and website management before he found Patient Peak. He had been through 10 marketing agencies in his 20+ years in private practice, all which left him disappointed in the results. Big promises, little results, lots of money spent without a notable ROI.
Our good doctor soon noticed that his new patient referrals were going down since he joined the marketing agency before finding Patient Peak. When we did an SEO audit on his website, we discovered that his website traffic had plummeted due to a botched website migration. They dumped ¾ of his content, they didn’t redirect the old website links to the new one, and they didn’t even connect the website to Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools to let search engines know what was going on with the new website. The website traffic dropped in half and his online bookings plummeted to about 20-25 patient online bookings per month.

Dr. Hollywood hired me to fix his website with the intention of keeping his current digital marketing agency. After discovering that the other agency didn’t know what they were doing with SEO, even though they were charging him for an additional monthly SEO package, Dr. Hollywood built a new website with Patient Peak. We recovered all his old content from the Way Back Machine and built him a state-of-the-art website. Plus, we restructured the website both for SEO and to create a patient funnel that lead website visitors to the “Request an Appointment” button.

It only took 7 months to not only turn the website around, but to rocket the patient recruiting beyond the doc’s wildest dreams. He had to hire another full time physician for all the overflow in his practice. Most importantly, we broke records with patient booking through the online appointment request form.
Fast Forward another year later, Dr. Hollywood consistently books 200+ patients a month in 2025 through the website’s “Request and Appointment” Button. And yes, Dr. Hollywood is still with us as we continue to provide world-class results. He’s planning an around the world trip for when his newly hired physician fills their practice as well.

How did we create this surge in website traffic? I didn’t use Google Ads. This result was 100% organic. We didn’t buy ads. We generated a large amount of great content for the search engines to display. Organic website traffic refers to unpaid, naturally occuring website traffic from Google/Bing/Alexa searches.
